The man in the Daoist robe took a Śarīra Relic from his sleeve. Its surface was densely covered in electronic components and circuitry.
On closer inspection, they seemed to form some sort of writing.
Then he took out a speaker and connected its audio cable to the Śarīra Relic.
"At that time, the manifestations of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva from all the hells throughout hundreds, thousands, millions, and billions of inconceivable, unfathomable, immeasurable, inexpressible, infinite asamkhyeya worlds gathered together in the palace of Trāyastriṃśa Heaven."
The robed man pressed play, and the sound of sutra chanting immediately came from the speaker.

The robed man gave a mocking laugh.
Would he have dared use Red Lotus Karmic Fire against the person in the coffin without making preparations?
"Master, oh, Master. You always think you're the only clever person in Metropolis. In truth, anyone is smarter than you."
The robed man patted the coffin lid again as he spoke.
Then he swept his long sleeves, intending to put the coffin away, but it did not budge.
"Now this is troublesome."
The robed man frowned.
