Ichigo's Fury

Feeling the commotion behind her drawing ever closer, Orihime grew increasingly panicked.

"Faster, faster! We're almost there, just hold on a little longer!"

Orihime kept encouraging herself. She had to find a way to deal with these capture teams.

Otherwise, even if she lured them away, the children still would not be safe. These people would never give up until they captured their test subjects.

Yet, just as she came within a few dozen meters of the Gastrea territory, a stone suddenly appeared beneath Orihime's foot. She lost her footing and twisted her ankle.

Crack!

A faint sound of bone breaking rang out. Orihime collapsed to the ground in pain and did not recover her senses for quite some time.

Watching the capture team draw closer and closer, tears welled up in Orihime's eyes.

Was I still this useless?! I can't even protect a group of children. If only I were as strong as Ichigo and the others, perhaps these children would not have to suffer alongside me!

Orihime gritted her teeth, endured the pain wracking her body, and crawled with difficulty toward the Gastrea territory.

"Just a little farther. As long as I get a little farther in, I can definitely save those children!"

But before she had crawled very far, a pair of thick legs appeared before her. Orihime's entire body trembled.

Before she could react, those thick legs suddenly kicked toward her.

A wave of agonizing pain struck her, and Orihime nearly blacked out.

"Old hag, keep running! Why did you stop?"

Orihime was kicked several meters away by a tremendous force. She could not hold back a mouthful of blood as she weakly looked toward the arrogant fat man nearby.

"You... you'll go to Hell one day! When that day comes, you'll all die horribly!"
