Doma's cause of death had been investigated. His final known whereabouts had been the Shogun's Residence of the Shogunate, and according to reports from the other demons—

The Shogunate had already formed an alliance with the Demon Slayer Corps.

Some demons who had originally hidden among the populace within Shogunate territory were swiftly rooted out. With the cooperation of local governments, it became increasingly difficult for demons to conceal their identities.

They did not dare go out during the day, and the moment they tried to act at night, the Demon Slayer Corps would pinpoint their location and destroy them together.

In just half a year, the low-ranking demons in Shogunate-controlled territory had nearly been wiped out.

Though he did not care much about the existence of such trash, if all the low-ranking demons were eliminated, then he, the Demon King, would become the primary target.
