Yet by the time they withdrew to a distance of ten kilometers outside the desert, the churning white fog suddenly returned to calm once again.

Facing this situation, the top military brass for a time did not know whether or not they should return.

For the interests of the United States, I suggest the military return to the fringe of the desert to seal it off strictly, prohibiting any external suspicious personnel from approaching!"

Other experts suggested that the military simply stay at its current position to prevent a similar situation from happening again.

"I have a different opinion. We currently know nothing about the desert white fog, and this sudden outbreak of white fog let us know that it is extremely unstable! For the safety of the army, I suggest the military simply stay at its current position."
