Scarlet Meteor Explosion, Terrifying Lightning That Destroys a City

The minions of the Fear Legion split directly in two.

A portion of them rushed down the cracks in the city wall, surrounding and slaughtering the Arbiters who had fallen.

Another portion poured into the war fortress, searching for any life that might exist within it.

Thanks to the Shadow-Splitting Form-Duplicating Incantation cast earlier by Kaecilius, the first wave of surprise attacks from the legion minions was blocked by the defensive barrier propped up by the crimson longsword.

The Arbiters came to their senses in time, releasing their respective signature magic.

For a moment, fierce winds, torrential rain, and a flurry of fireballs and ice arrows flew together...

Their surroundings were instantly cleared.

Inquisition Officer Figo roared loudly and commanded, "Form teams of three and charge up!"

Seizing this rare gap, the Arbiters immediately found their familiar teammates.

After the three-person squads were formed, one Arbiter stood at the very front of the team, holding up a huge shield with both hands, while the other two Arbiters hid behind the giant shield and poured out their firepower with all their might.

"Death Storm!"

"Lord of Crimson's version 3.0 big fireball!"

"Bossatt's Lightning Chain!"

"Crimson Thorns!"

All kinds of high-damage area-of-effect magic were scattered toward the legion minions as if mana was worthless.

Yet the minions of the Fear Legion simply did not know what fear was.

Ignoring their heavy casualties, they stepped on the corpses of their comrades, braving the fierce winds, giant fireballs, silver lightning arrows, and rapidly spreading Crimson Thorns, and pushed the Arbiters—who had just rushed up in one go—back down.

"Taste fear!"

A low roar sounded behind Figo's three-person squad.

Figo's expression changed drastically. He turned around swiftly, directly throwing out the big fireball he had just condensed, and shouted sternly, "Explode!"
