"Look!"

Rong Xi left his embrace, stood shoulder to shoulder with him, and pointed into the sky.

A huge firework blossomed in the night sky, dazzling with color and breathtakingly beautiful. Though fleeting as an epiphyllum's bloom, it was enough to etch itself into one's heart.

Qin Ke's eyes grew slightly hot, his heart surging like the tides.

Each burst boomed against the gates of his heart, unleashing a torrent that drowned him completely.

"Lan Zhi."

His voice was low and hoarse, his gaze more scorching and resplendent than the fireworks.

Rong Xi tilted his head with a smile. "Isn't it pretty?"

The youth's eyes shone like morning stars, his smile intoxicating. Qin Ke was already half-drunk.

"Very pretty."

Something in his eyes struck Rong Xi, and his smile slowly faded.

Qin Ke reached out, wrapped an arm around his waist, and drew him into his embrace.

"Rong Lan Zhi, you're truly beautiful."

The words vanished between their lips and teeth. Qin Ke kissed him feverishly, his arms tightening as though he wanted to knead Rong Xi into his flesh and bones, never to be parted again.

His scorching breath nearly burned away all reason. Qin Ke was far less detached than he appeared.

Rong Xi's lips curved upward as he returned the embrace around Qin Ke's strong waist.

In his heart, Qin Ke was more beautiful than anyone.
