Dragon Flame Song

"You're right. Your words have enlightened me and elevated my art. I should find opponents with some class to prove the greatness of my art. And you don't look very weak, so I'll grant you the honor of being the first to admire my art!!!" Deidara said excitedly.

"I pointed you down the right path, you know. Forget thanking me, but isn't attacking me outright rather unbecoming of an artist?" Miao said with a faint smile.

"You've got quite a sharp tongue, but I wonder if your strength is as impressive as your mouth!!!" Unable to outtalk Miao, Deidara stopped bothering with anything else and shouted.

"Hehe, what a foul-tempered guy." Miao smiled, finding Deidara's furious flailing rather amusing.

"Enough nonsense!!! Witness my art!!!" Deidara roared, immediately reaching into the ninja tool bag at his waist without another thought.

"Hm!!!" Miao raised a brow, his entire body tensing. He knew Deidara was about to use Ninjutsu. Deidara pulled his hand from the ninja tool bag, clutching a lump of white substance in his palm. The mouth on his palm seemed to have caught the scent of delicious food and rapidly began devouring the white material.

"So that white substance is what causes the explosions? He mixes Chakra into it and then detonates it—that must be the principle behind his Ninjutsu." The Three-Tomoe in Miao's Sharingan spun rapidly, allowing him to see Deidara's every movement clearly.

The lump of white clay was gradually eaten by the mouth on his palm, which then spat out a large number of tiny white spiders. Each of those white spiders had already been infused with a considerable amount of Chakra.

"Take a good look!!!" Deidara cried excitedly, then fiercely flung the white spiders down. A sky-covering swarm of white spiders fell toward Miao.

"Not good!!! I can't touch those spiders, or I'll be blown to pieces!!" Miao was instantly alarmed and began sprinting across the grass.

"Hmph!! You can't escape!!" Deidara laughed. After landing, the spiders did not immediately explode. Instead, they began moving across the grass, swiftly pursuing Miao's figure, lifelike as if they possessed life.

"They can move freely like living creatures!!! What kind of Ninjutsu is this!!" Miao's expression changed as the overwhelming swarm of spiders crawled rapidly toward him from behind.

"This won't do!!" Miao decisively stopped, his hands rapidly forming seals. "Fire Style—Great Fireball Technique!!!!" "Boom!!!!!!" A massive fireball erupted from Miao's mouth and blasted toward the grass behind him at tremendous speed, instantly swallowing the white spiders.

The instant the Great Fireball engulfed the white spiders, it exploded, and the spiders exploded as well. The power of dozens of spiders detonating at once was self-evident. "Bang!!!!!!!!" A thunderous blast rang out as flames shot into the sky. The violent gale created by the impact raced over the grass like wild horses, whipping the trees at the edge of the field from side to side.

"Tch, he has some skill." Deidara smiled excitedly from the sky. If Miao had been taken out by an attack of that level, it would have been no fun at all.

"Though the distance is a little far, it should barely be enough." Miao thought to himself. He leapt into the air, his hands swiftly forming seals. "Fire Style—Dragon Flame Song Technique!!!!!!"

A heaven-shaking dragon's roar rang out. "Roar!!!!!!" More than a dozen enormous flaming dragon heads burst from Miao's mouth, roaring savagely as they charged toward Deidara in the sky.

"What a powerful Fire Style! What Fire Style is this!!!!" Deidara's face suddenly changed when he saw the huge, clawing dragon heads. It was his first time seeing such a massive Fire Style that seemed alive.

Though the dragon heads were enormous and ferocious, they were incredibly fast. More than a dozen of them nearly sealed off every direction in which Deidara could evade.

"Damn it!!!!" Deidara gritted his teeth. Knowing he could no longer dodge, he had no choice but to abandon the giant bird beneath his feet and leap away from it.

"Bang!!!!!!!!" The white giant bird was swallowed by the fire dragons without suspense. The enormous explosion was deafening, and the sky was engulfed in blazing flames, becoming even more brilliantly vivid.

Deidara landed on the grass in a single bound, his expression somewhat unpleasant. Just moments ago, he had been smugly floating in the sky, yet now that Wu had blasted him straight to the ground with a single Fire Style technique. As an artist, that was truly too humiliating.

At this point, Deidara was still far from reaching the level he would attain later. Many of his powerful Explosive Clay Secret Techniques had yet to be developed. He could only make simple Explosive Clay, and his strength was worlds apart from what it would become. Against Miao's A* Fire Style technique, the Dragon Flame Song Technique, he had no way to respond, and his aerial advantage had vanished completely.

Miao stood quietly on the ground and spoke calmly. "You should be satisfied now." "Damn it!!! This guy isn't an ordinary Ninja!!" Deidara stared solemnly at Miao. Though Deidara was simple-minded and arrogant, he was no fool. Only now did he realize that the person before him was on a completely different level from the ordinary Ninja he had encountered before.
