The three Reverted Elixir Great Demons arrived together, their swagger just a shade too brazen.

They had the strength to back it up. They were the rebel army's three strongest fighters, and it was only natural that they carried themselves as if no one else mattered.

The Great River Alliance had White Deer Grotto behind it, but White Deer Grotto had yet to show itself. With these three Great Demons in their midst, they formed the most powerful faction beneath Yuchen.

Divide and break them apart. That was the strategy Third Young Master Su had devised.

The rebel army was formidable, but its ranks were threaded with separate loyalties. Situ Tu and the Great River Alliance had long since reached an understanding and joined forces early on. The Mystic Mountain Demon Horde, however, had been recruited later.

There was another complication. The Great River Alliance had originally been founded to watch the water demons in the Canglang Waters. Its members were all Rogue Cultivators, but they still had little love for demons and monsters. After spending years banded together to guard against them, suddenly becoming their allies was bound to feel awkward.

Yuchen and Yue Luan might laugh and chat with Great Demons like Lord Dushan, Blackwind King, and Young Master Scale, but the ordinary cultivators beneath them certainly had no smiles to spare for the demons under those three.

That was the opening Su Che chose.

On one hand, he befriended the three Great Demons and sounded out their plans. On the other, he secretly changed his appearance to sow discord. One day he would pose as a human cultivator, seize a few demons, and beat them up. The next, he would knock human cultivators unconscious and dump them in a demon camp.

Meanwhile, Old Ox made his sour
