The Monsters of Fuyuki

Sword energy rang through the air, colorless and formless. Only when it swallowed an incoming enemy did ripples spread across it, concealing deadly danger beneath their gentle flow.

Eight of the Nine Divine Weapons resonated around the swordsman. Countless swords and armaments streamed in from the distant horizon and the flames consuming the world, forming an inexhaustible river of steel.

He did not attack. He stood where he was, holding the pale girl who had wrapped her arms around his neck with his left arm. In his right hand, he held the God-Beating Whip and quietly waited for something to arrive.

Space Tunnels opened, and Servants summoned by the Counter Force poured in. Whoever they were, the first thing they met was the surging river of swords.

Powerful Servants unleashed their legends and fought through the flood with unstoppable force. Some emerged wreathed in the radiance of their Noble Phantasms; others crossed space to escape. But then the Servants of the Fifth Holy Grail War intercepted them.

Mana supply was no concern. Before the Greater Grail, Caster bestowed the mana sources she had created on the Servants present, effectively giving each of them a temporary Holy Grail within their body. Reinforcement Magecraft from the Age of Gods raised every Servant's stats by at least one rank.

"Heracles?!"

A Servant from the Age of Gods in Greece was startled, but he did not stop. He still had a mission from the Counter Force to complete.

One. Two. When the thirteenth Servant broke through the blockade, Vortex Vanquisher plunged into the earth. The Jade Barrier Shield manifested, and from high above, all of Fuyuki appeared wrapped in a thin golden glow.

Swords rained from the sky. The river of blades swallowed more than fifty Magician Servants outside Mount Enzou, shattering their forms.
