Strange, Look Who I Brought You

Lin Feng had noticed the figure dressed like a grim reaper the first few times he drew souls out of the Death Realm.

But the figure had always hidden in the shadows, watching Lin Feng take the souls without daring to show himself, so Lin Feng had ignored him.

Had he finally had enough and come to demand an explanation?

"Three times!" the newcomer rasped.

"Three times what?" Lin Feng blinked.

"Toying with the souls of the dead disrupts the order of the universe!" Instead of answering Lin Feng, the reaper-faced figure turned to Christine.

His face emerged from beneath his hood. It was a skull, somewhat like Red Skull's.

His hollow eye sockets fixed on the soul Lin Feng had pulled from the Death Realm.

Frightened by his appearance, Christine instinctively shrank behind Lin Feng.

Lin Feng understood now. By "three times," the figure must have meant the times he had taken souls from the Death Realm.

Howard and his wife made two, Tony and Pepper from the Zombie Universe made one, and Christine made another.

Had there been another time? Lin Feng couldn't remember, but even the ones he could recall didn't add up to three!

"Uh... are you sure you counted right? It's been more than three times..."

The skull turned stiffly toward him.

Somehow, Lin Feng could read sheer speechlessness in those empty eye sockets...

The skull probably hadn't expected that to be what Lin Feng focused on.

"Anyway, I'm here to take her back..." The reaper pointed at Christine.

"I can overlook the previous times, but you must stop toying with the souls of the dead!"

"What do you mean, 'toying with the souls of the dead'?" Lin Feng said, displeased.

"Besides, why don't you ask her if she wants to go back with you?"
