Lotlyn slowly explained the Wand's various functions.
To prove her point, she used it to cast several support spells.
The spells struck everyone, filling them with a pleasant warmth, followed by a surge of fighting spirit and energy.
Their eyes grew brighter as they stared at the Wand and swallowed hard.
Well, the joke was on them. What little twig? This thing was practically a divine artifact!
"Do you still think it's a little twig, Kadra?"
Kadra's cheeks reddened, a rare sight.

"I admit, I was too quick to call it a little twig!"
"Kadra, you owe us a meal for getting such a powerful item!"
Their companions looked at Kadra with envy.
Of course, they were only joking about the meal.
Kadra seemed dazed herself, staring at the Wand that had been pressed into her hand.
It was a little over thirty centimeters long.
But... it was shorter than the utensils Kadra normally ate with.
Her eyes shifted, and she asked, "Lady Lotlyn, may I give the Wand to someone else?"
