Shadow was no slouch in speed. He swiftly severed several more cables, leaving the Giant Beast Hunting Group's leader stunned.

"Was our equipment not maintained properly?" the second-in-command asked in confusion. Their equipment was meant for hunting giant beasts. Just a few of those cables could pin down a giant beast nearly a thousand meters long.

"This guy can survive in the void, so he probably has some tricks. Combined with that giant beast that disappeared, I have a feeling this group isn't simple."

The Giant Beast Hunting Group's leader narrowed his eyes.

"Should we run, then?" the second-in-command looked up and asked.

"No need. Thanos said that as long as we capture Gamora and bring her back, he'll give us an extremely generous reward. He once bought five giant beasts from us in one go! Even he called it a generous reward. What do you think?"

The Giant Beast Hunting Group's leader looked at the second-in-command, who understood immediately.

"I'll have them use higher-grade equipment right away."

The leader watched Shadow struggle to cut through the cables. Heh. If anyone was to blame, it was Gamora for being among them.

After some effort, Shadow finally cut through every cable. Inside the cabin, Star-Lord immediately restarted the ship's control system.

The ship performed admirably, rebooting at incredible speed. Seeing the flight system come online, Star-Lord smiled.

"Beautiful! Now we can get the hell out of here!"

Star-Lord was about to pilot the ship away when those warships suddenly extended device after device, surrounding them from all sides.

Then, an enormous energy net trapped them inside.

"What the hell? Isn't this cheating?"

Star-Lord cursed. Gamora clenched her fists as she watched the scene.

"This is equipment used to capture the highest-grade giant beasts. They're using it against one little ship?"
