When Star-Lord heard that, he sighed. He knew those guys would never listen to him, but he kept trying to persuade them, hoping Blaze would quickly notify the others.

But Blaze ignored him completely and found Star-Lord too annoying, so he simply cut off the communication.

"What happened to this guy? Why is he such a coward now? A few Chitauri scared him this badly?"

Blaze shook his head. Why had Star-Lord not been so timid when he escaped from their warship before?

Looking at Star-Lord's ship parked within their firing range, Blaze had no intention of blasting it apart with a single shot.

Having distinguished himself among so many Ravagers and become a warship fire-control officer with few responsibilities and good pay and benefits, Blaze could be considered quite the shrewd fellow.

Long ago, he had noticed that Yondu was unusually tolerant of Star-Lord. No matter what Star-Lord did, as long as he could provide a barely acceptable excuse, Yondu would easily let him off.

This was not exactly a secret among the Ravagers. Many sharp-minded people had noticed it, but everyone tacitly chose not to expose it.

And this time, when Star-Lord and the others escaped from Yondu's hands, everyone guessed that Yondu had gone easy on them. Otherwise, with his record of slaughtering an entire Kree unit by himself, how could he lose to a bunch of nobodies?

With that relationship in mind, Blaze wisely chose not to attack Star-Lord and the others. Besides, when they escaped, they had shown restraint. They had not killed anyone, and they had even left behind the hundred million credits.

As for Star-Lord, they could just treat it as though he had normally left the Ravagers.

Putting Star-Lord out of his mind, Blaze looked toward the battlefield ahead and began charging
