After returning to the ship, Yondu rushed straight to the bridge.

He still remembered what Gamora had said earlier: Ebony Maw might have called in his companions and brought a fleet over.

Never mind that their warship was heavily damaged now—even at full strength, they might not have been able to fight an entire fleet at once.

So this was no time to rest. They had to take the remaining people and get out of here.

But when he reached the bridge, he found the remaining Ravagers on the warship staring grimly at the control panel.

"What happened? Is there something wrong with the warship?"

The Ravagers all started talking at once. "The ship's spatial anchor and engines activated for no reason earlier, and we couldn't shut them down. The engines kept running at full power, which caused a malfunction. The ship can't move at all now."

The spatial anchor kept a spacecraft firmly fixed in place, while the engines were what made it move. With both activated at the same time, it would have been strange if the ship had not broken down.

Yondu slammed a fist into the console before him and snarled.

"Star-Lord and the others haven't come in yet. Should we warn them?"
