The Mutated Abomination

The next day, Potts did not go to Stark Industries for the first time in ages, while Lu Qi also left the Long Island Mansion.

After wandering around outside all day, Lu Qi took out his phone in a plaza.

"JARVIS, are you sure you can't see inside the Long Island Mansion?"

"Sorry, Mr. Lu Qi. Mr. Stark has an important date today and does not want anyone disturbing him. I have also been classified as a person."

"That joke was pretty terrible." Lu Qi shook his head.

He hoped things went smoothly. Yesterday, he had spent half the day planning things with Tony, putting all his experience from romance anime to use.

After glancing at the starry sky, Lu Qi stared blankly at the pedestrians on the street.

Tony should be able to pull it off. He had succeeded in the original plot, after all. The only question was whether he would go all the way. Before leaving early this morning, Lu Qi had even specifically cleared Tony's poison.

He gave a wicked grin when his phone suddenly rang.

Lu Qi looked at the phone and saw that it was Coulson calling.

The moment he answered, Coulson anxiously said, "Consultant Lu Qi, a yellow monster has appeared on Broadway!"

Lu Qi froze. Hadn't he sent Shadow Ninjas to monitor Samuel? Why had Abomination still appeared?

"Can you come help? I'll call Iron Man over too."

Lu Qi hurriedly said, "He has something urgent today. I can handle it alone!"

Although Coulson definitely would not be able to get through to Tony, Lu Qi was afraid Coulson might directly interrupt Tony's good time.

Lu Qi hung up, first went into an alley to draw a door to the construction site and retrieve the Shadow Legion, then teleported near Broadway.

Looking at the chaotic crowd in the distance, Lu Qi frowned. By all rights, those ninjas should have been able to deal with an Abomination who had not absorbed Hulk's blood. Why had they still allowed Abomination to appear?

A group of ninjas suddenly materialized before the astonished onlookers, then nimbly leaped over the chaotic crowd and rushed toward the giant.

Lu Qi appeared on high ground near the battlefield. Seeing the surrounding civilians being directly escorted away by the enormous number of Ninja Soldiers, he breathed a sigh of relief before turning to Abomination.

"What is going on?" Lu Qi looked at Abomination before him, not knowing what to say. Why did Abomination look different from the movie?

The Abomination before him was completely unlike the still vaguely humanoid Abomination from the film!

Although this thing was still shit-yellow, it no longer looked human. It moved on all fours, its head connected to its body by a spine that swayed everywhere. Spikes covered its body, making it look like an alien monster.

Lu Qi found it strange, but he still sent out the entire Shadow Legion.

In an instant, the street that had already been cleared was filled with figures.

A group of Troll Soldiers surrounded Abomination, while the other units stood on every corner and atop every building, enclosing Abomination from all sides.

Abomination seemed less intelligent than before. Seeing so many enemies, he roared like a beast and charged toward the most conspicuous Troll Soldiers.

The Troll Soldiers did not yield, charging forward in rows with no less momentum than Abomination.

The two sides collided head-on without the slightest attempt to avoid each other. The shockwave shattered every pane of glass in the surrounding buildings, and for a moment, it rained glass.

The spikes on Abomination's body viciously slammed into a Troll Soldier's body, smashing the Troll Soldier into shadow.

Lu Qi frowned slightly. He had not expected Abomination in this form to be so strong, but it did not matter. Once a Troll Soldier returned, five seconds later there would be another big man. He refused to believe Abomination could cripple an infinitely regenerating Shadow Legion.

Abomination had killed a Troll Soldier with that charge, but he had also stopped. A group of Troll Soldiers immediately rushed up and surrounded him.

Without caring whether they would be injured, the hulking soldiers pounced on him, grabbed Abomination's limbs, and forcibly lifted him up.

Then they slammed him fiercely into the ground.

The concrete shattered outright, and Abomination sank into the ground, but the Troll Soldiers' attack was not over.

They became merciless pile drivers, pairs of enormous hands clenching into fists as they continuously hammered Abomination's body. The tremendous force made Abomination howl in pain.

Seeing the stable situation below, Lu Qi sighed in relief. Although Abomination had become stronger, his own side was not to be underestimated either.

A group of Troll Soldiers used their numerical advantage to pin Abomination down and beat him, while another ring of Troll Soldiers could not squeeze into the fight.

Lu Qi casually summoned the Troll Soldier who had been instantly killed. He watched as the soldier took a running start from the rooftop, turning into a meteor and crashing down toward Abomination.

Boom!

The massive sound drowned out all the noise outside. The civilians, who had still been somewhat panicked, even felt sorry for the yellow monster upon seeing this.

Even Lu Qi, standing on the rooftop, was pushed back a short distance by the impact. That showed just how powerful the blow was.

Abomination stopped moving below, and Lu Qi breathed a sigh of relief. Still, he could not guarantee that Abomination had been instantly killed by that hit, so he simply had the Troll Soldiers try to pull out the spikes from Abomination's body.

As long as one had enough strength, those things could even pierce Hulk. Lu Qi felt they were harder than bricks and stone; perhaps they could directly stab Abomination to death.

As the Troll Soldiers below started working, Lu Qi called over the Ninja Soldiers who had been monitoring Samuel.

Through communication via Darkness Wave, Lu Qi learned that when they discovered Banner had come there, they had obeyed Lu Qi's orders and not acted, lest Banner continue thinking about eliminating Hulk. Then, when Abomination entered and forced Samuel to inject him with Hulk's blood, the ninjas immediately split into two groups and attacked both men.

Samuel was directly chopped into several pieces, but something went wrong with Abomination.

His spine was extremely tough and had not been severed, causing him to be sent flying into the cabinet holding the blood. The blood poured directly into Abomination's body through his wounds, making him tremble madly in pain. Yet he never died, and his body grew larger and larger while his skin turned increasingly yellow.

They went up to chop him, but they could not even sever his arms. They could only leave wound after wound, and spikes emerged one after another from those wounds.

After that, Abomination began chasing and attacking them. They had also tried to lure him somewhere without people.

But Abomination was drawn by car horns and screams, and he ran here midway through.

"What kind of timeline convergence is this..." Lu Qi helplessly shook his head. Still, at least Abomination had been knocked down.

Just as he was thinking that, Abomination suddenly let out a furious roar below. Lu Qi hurriedly lowered his head to look.

That thing's body was actually starting to grow, increasing by more than double.

The Troll Soldiers, who had originally stood half a body taller than Abomination, now seemed much shorter in front of him!

"This is ridiculous, isn't it?" Watching Abomination kill a Troll Soldier in two moves, Lu Qi could hardly believe it. Troll Soldiers were among his strongest forces, yet Abomination had suddenly transformed and started one-shotting them. What was that supposed to mean?

Bursting out was not supposed to be a villain's skill, unless you were the big brother who flew a spaceship.

Seeing the transformed Abomination slaughtering the ninjas below, Lu Qi quickly ordered all the Ninja Soldiers to attack him.

He watched waves of ninjas charge forward, only to be directly knocked flying by Abomination and turn into shadow before they even landed.

Lu Qi frowned, gritted his teeth, and crouched down as streams of Dark Energy radiated from around his body.

Lu Qi was no longer supplying energy to the Shadow World. Instead, he released it directly. Yet more than half of this Dark Energy was immediately worn away by the various energies in the Material World, though it continued accumulating.

He hoped the Shadow Legion could hold Abomination back long enough for him to finish charging up. As Lu Qi released Dark Energy, he also tried to directly communicate with the Shadow World and draw Dark Energy from it, but he always felt something blocking him.

Strange. I could clearly do this at Kamar-Taj. Oh, right! The magic array Kamar-Taj set up!

Having figured it out, Lu Qi focused on releasing Dark Energy instead of trying to communicate with the Shadow World. What a joke. Even Dormammu could not use Dark Energy to break through this magic array, so who was Lu Qi to think he could?

Meanwhile, aboard a helicopter, Banner frowned as he watched the Shadow Legion being slaughtered below.

"They can't kill that thing at all. Once it loses interest in them, it'll go somewhere else. Only I can stop it!"

Sensing the energy inside Abomination's body, Banner felt an awareness in his own body growing furious, furious that a thief had stolen its power.

"So you really haven't disappeared." Banner spoke softly.

Betty did not hear Banner's last sentence. She rushed forward and hugged him.

"Bruce, don't go. You've been cured!"

Banner turned to look at Betty. Looking at the lover he had longed for, he finally kissed her.

Behind them, General Ross silently touched the pistol at his waist.

But Banner quickly pushed Betty away, gave her a resolute smile, and fell backward toward the ground.

"Bruce!" Betty sadly threw herself toward the edge of the helicopter, and Ross hurriedly stepped forward to grab her.

Boom!

The sound of something heavy hitting the ground rang out, yet nothing emerged for a long while.

"No, Bruce... Bruce!"

Just as Ross was about to comfort his daughter, he heard her cry out in surprise. He leaned out to look below and saw a green giant climbing out of the crater, running toward Abomination.

"Damn it, scourges live a thousand years!"

Hulk glanced at the helicopter in the sky, then ran toward the thief in the distance.

He could sense the power that originated from him inside the other's body, but his own power was currently suppressed by that drug and could not be fully unleashed.

But what could Hulk possibly think about? He only wanted to beat that thief to a pulp!

As Abomination slaughtered the ninjas, he seemed to sense something. His spine lifted his head as he looked at the green figure charging at him from afar.

An inexplicable emotion surged from within his body, making him directly ignore those annoying, unkillable pests and run toward Hulk.

The two figures collided head-on. The massive soundwave could have shaken people to death, and at the same time, a green figure flew out.

This was not the original Abomination. As an enhanced Abomination PLUS version, he was a full three times Hulk's size and far stronger as well.

But Hulk got up and paused for a moment. Feeling his power was too heavily restricted, he became increasingly angry. The power within him grew slightly, and his already limited intelligence was directly reduced to zero.

Hulk grew braver the more he fought, repeatedly losing and fighting again. He was sent flying time and again, while their battlefield constantly shifted.

Abomination fiercely attacked the little green runt before him. Although he had lost his intelligence, he still retained a deep impression of that green figure.

Meanwhile, Lu Qi commanded the Ninja Soldiers and Blade Soldiers to carry away civilians caught up in the battle. Otherwise, every civilian nearby would die.

The battle remained deadlocked for a long time. Eventually, Abomination finally lost interest in this guy, feeling that he was not even as durable as those ninjas.

Dark Energy surged all over his body and carried Lu Qi into the air. Looking at the churning dust in the distance, Lu Qi flew straight toward it.

With a stretch of his hand, Dark Energy gathered in his palm and formed a spear. Lu Qi roared as Dark Energy surged, thrusting toward the rampaging Abomination in the distance.

"Stop!" Just as Abomination was causing destruction everywhere with Hulk, a voice carrying a special energy fluctuation rang out, stunning him into a pause. The next second, a figure instantly appeared before him, and a black spear ignored his defenses and stabbed directly into his body!

Without any hesitation, Lu Qi dispersed the Dark Energy that had formed the spear. In an instant, hundreds of thousands of units of Dark Energy erupted inside Abomination's body. Countless streams of Dark Energy flowed through Abomination's body, directly suppressing the Gamma Energy within him.

The seemingly invincible Abomination collapsed, while Hulk fell to the ground.

Hulk angrily stood up and looked at Abomination, only to discover a tiny figure standing atop Abomination's body. Countless black energies churned around him, pouring into Abomination's body.

Abomination let out a roar not much different from before, yet it sounded unbearably painful.

"Get lost!" Lu Qi continuously poured energy through that hole into Abomination's body, then turned and glared furiously at Hulk. Was this guy trying to cause trouble too?

The originally enraged Hulk looked at Lu Qi's gaze and inexplicably became frightened. Seeing the energy churning around that guy's body, he felt fear for no reason.

Just as he stood there, unsure what to do, another person he hated sent him the thought that he should leave. Then Hulk immediately ran away without looking back.

Lu Qi watched the departing Hulk in confusion. He had thought he would have to fight Hulk too and had already prepared to gather the Troll Soldiers, but Hulk had simply left.

Then that was fine. Lu Qi felt Abomination beneath his feet suddenly twitch, so he immediately turned back and continued pouring Dark Energy in to destroy Abomination's body.

Feeling someone standing atop his body, Abomination struggled madly, trying to rise. But waves of Dark Energy ravaged him from within, corroding all his muscles and leaving him able to do nothing but roar helplessly.

Cell after cell turned into nothingness under the assault of Dark Energy, leaving behind only the Gamma Energy hidden deep within them.

The Gamma Energy in countless cells was stirred up and rushed out, colliding with Lu Qi's Dark Energy and annihilating each other.

Another battle unfolded within Abomination's body, but under Lu Qi's unending supply of energy, the Gamma Energy eventually lacked the strength to continue and was slowly annihilated completely by the Dark Energy.

Once the last trace of Gamma Energy in Abomination's body was destroyed, Abomination vanished without a trace. After all, following a series of genetic modifications, his genes had long been collapsing.

He had only barely survived because Gamma Energy had accidentally been poured into him and taken control of him. Once the Gamma Energy was completely destroyed, his body no longer had the force sustaining its existence and directly disappeared.

Much better this way. Even his ashes were scattered, so no one could get any bad ideas.
