Lu Qi turned back to find a car parked not far away, with Coulson standing beside it.

Walking over, "Are my ID documents done?"

"The Director originally wanted us to give you some help, but it's clear you don't need it," Coulson said smoothly.

"I could still use some help. If you guys don't mind, I can help you kill Kingpin."

Coulson shook his head, "We will give you the locations of all his strongholds. There are many vested interests behind Kingpin; we don't advocate for you to kill him, but we won't stop you either."

Lu Qi nodded, acknowledging S.H.I.E.L.D.'s attitude. Opening the file Coulson handed him, he found his own photo on a work ID.

"Can you explain why I've become a security consultant for this what-ma-call-it bureau?" Lu Qi asked with a frown.

"Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division," Coulson recited fluently, then continued.

"This certificate can be used as an identification document, and it also enjoys high discounts on some transactions."

"Does this "some transactions" include all-inclusive services?" Lu Qi asked curiously.

Coulson maintained an awkward yet polite smile and shook his head, leaving Lu Qi somewhat disappointed.

"So you guys plan to recruit me?" Lu Qi took out the little booklet from inside, shaking it back and forth in his hand.

"In fact, S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't have the position of security consultant; this position is set up for those who have ability but won't join S.H.I.E.L.D. As long as you don't cause trouble, even if you don't do any work usually, you can still collect a salary that guarantees basic living expenses.
