Eagle vs. Kaido

"He's called Ace!"

Faced with Eagle's curiosity, Yamato looked delighted.

"Like Enel, he's a Logia ability user. Except you use lightning, while he uses fire!"

Yamato recalled how, two years ago, on a day when Kaido and his subordinates had gone out to wage war, a man named Ace had broken into Onigashima to challenge Kaido. They happened to meet and fought, then became friends afterward. He had even said he would take her out to sea with him, but unfortunately, she could not leave Onigashima because of the slave shackles on her wrists.

"Have you heard anything about him out there?"

After saying that, Yamato looked at Eagle and Enel expectantly.

"He must've made quite a name for himself by now, right?"

Yamato had never left Wano Country, and with Kaido's restrictions on her, her information channels were extremely limited. She knew nothing about the outside world, but she believed Ace must have made a name for himself out there.

Eagle and Enel exchanged a glance after hearing that. Someone named Ace who was also a Logia user could only be the man who had recently joined the Whitebeard Pirates and become the commander of the Second Division.

Of course, they had heard of him. They had not expected him to have come to Wano Country, but none of that was important. What mattered was...

"Is Kaido here?"

Eagle raised his head and looked toward the very top of Onigashima. He had come this time to challenge Kaido.

"He is!"

Yamato nodded repeatedly, then asked eagerly.

"Have you figured out a way to defeat Kaido?"

As though Kaido were not her father but her sworn enemy, Yamato eagerly anticipated seeing someone defeat him.

"Of course!"

Eagle clenched his fist.

"I specifically sought advice from Vice Admiral Garp this time.
