Dawn stopped three meters in front of Yamato. She was struggling to pull herself out of the rock wall, rubble pattering down and revealing her battered body.
Her kimono was torn in several places, exposing the snow-white skin beneath, but her eyes still shone as she stared fixedly at Dawn.
"Y-You bastard, you're actually this strong... No wonder that bastard Kaido wanted to use me to win you over."
Dawn's gaze fell on her wrist.
"If you don't take that off, you can't beat me. I can help you, so you won't be unable to show your true strength."
Yamato froze for a moment, then shook her head like a rattle drum.
"Are you trying to curry favor with me? Give it up! Even then, I won't like you! I'm a man!"
Dawn did not respond. The air behind him exploded in a burst of pressure, and he appeared before Yamato as if teleporting, his left hand gripping the link between her shackles.
Yamato's expression changed drastically.
"Wait! Let go! That thing will—"
Dawn clenched his five fingers. A flowing pink sheen like cherry blossoms coated his palm as Armament Haki seeped into the shackles, shattering them like fragile cookies.
Boom!
The instant the shackles broke, flames erupted from between his fingers. Scorching fire serpents licked at Dawn's palm and Yamato's exposed wrist, but upon touching the dark vortex in Dawn's hand, they vanished without a trace.
Yamato stared blankly at her unscathed wrist and fell silent. She looked up, just about to say something, when she saw Dawn raise his right hand expressionlessly, his palm aimed at her.
An invisible Gravity Field abruptly enveloped Yamato. Her knees slammed into the ground, her spine groaned, her organs were compressed, and her blood nearly burst through her veins.
Boom!
The ground
