At the bow of the leading pirate ship, Weijun leaned against the railing, leisurely sipping rum.
He wore a brand-new pirate hat and a black cloak, with exquisite leather gloves on both hands. In his right hand was a gleaming saber, while a dagger and two flintlocks hung at his waist. He looked every bit the formidable figure.
Grace stood beside him in a tight, short dress, idly playing with a flintlock.
She licked her dry red lips and stared fixedly at the pirate who had spoken with her watery eyes, making his mouth go dry and his body burn, yet he did not dare make a single inappropriate move.
"You'd better not be lying."
Grace gave a soft laugh and pressed the flintlock against the pirate's chest, her voice sweet yet carrying a deadly chill.
"Otherwise, I'll use this gun to put a hole through your heart."
"I'm not lying! I'm not lying, Lady Grace!"
The pirate was scared out of his wits. He nodded frantically like a pecking chicken, staring at Grace with a besotted expression.
