Daoism had existed since Ancient Antiquity, with many great worthies among its ranks, including the pre-Qin philosophers Laozi and Zhuangzi, the Yan-Huang Emperors, Guang Chengzi, Chisongzi, and Rong Chengzi.
Their Dao Lineages gave rise to numerous branches, forming the Daoist traditions of later ages. The Celestial Masters Dao revered Laozi, the Lingbao Sect revered Lingbao Tianzun, the Shangqing Sect revered Yuanshi Tianzun, and the Shushan Sect revered Chisongzi...
After countless years of rise and fall, they finally divided into two great factions-or rather, two alliances.
The first was the Orthodox Unity Alliance, which focused on talismans, with Mount Longhu universally recognized as Daoism's ancestral seat. The second was Quanzhen Dao, which focused on cultivating the inner elixir and rose in the north. Louguan Dao, passed down by the Great Saint Yin Xi, was one of its branches.
Mount Longhu was divided into inner and outer mountains. The Daoist temples of the outer mountains had all been destroyed, leaving only the Tianshi Mansion.
The inner mountains, however, were where true cultivators lived. Their majestic peaks seemed poised to leap into the clouds, with dragons and tigers coiling together in their contours. Even in this Dharma-Ending Era, faint wisps of purple qi rose from them-a rarity in the world.
Immortal cranes danced through the air, Daoist boys gathered herbs, and old Daoists practiced breathing exercises atop cliffs. Peaks wreathed in purple qi soared skyward like a staircase leading to the Heavenly Palace.
This was one of Earth's true cultivation terrains. The Luotian Grand Ceremony was held here, drawing an untold number of cultivators.

A plump Daoist with a ruddy face ventured deep into Mount Longhu. Climbing high to gaze into the
