A day later.

In space.

A stellar in its prime illuminated the entire star system.

Sunlight traveled through the profound Void, carrying warmth to the furthest reaches.

At the end of the light.

The dim expanse of space was suddenly sliced by an invisible force into hexagonal fragments.

This was the Marvel universe's unique method of spatial travel: Jump Points.

Jump Point

As one of the hexagonal fragments vanished, a star region tens of thousands of light-years away connected to the Solar System.

An interstellar spacecraft passed through the Jump Point from that star region.

It continued onward, passing the massive Neptune and Uranus... before finally stopping near Mars's orbit.

Dense clusters of spacecraft hovered here, like a swarm of locusts feeding on the same stalk of rice.

After the distant interstellar warship came to a stop.

A dazzling streak of light flew out.

Like a blazing torch racing through the Starry Sky.

It shot into the fleet.

Then stopped at the rear of the largest vessel, descended, and entered through the open hatch.

Once the hatch closed, the Photon Energy surging from Captain Marvel's body faded.

She deactivated her suit's outer-space mode. Her Mohawk-style hair, which had been held in place by her helmet, fell loose, and her shoulder-length blonde hair naturally draped down, concealing the sharp angles of her square face.

Ahead of her.

Talos had come specifically to greet her with his wife and daughter.

"It's been a long time, Carol," Talos greeted her warmly.
