Talos was stunned at first, then horrified.
"Don't tell me you want to create Super-Skrulls!?"
"That's right, General. This is our last chance!" Gravik's expression turned savage.
"Captain Marvel and Nick Fury promised to find us a new home, but more than ten years have passed, and neither of them has done it."
"Then we'll use their power to seize everything that should be ours!"
"General, Carol is incredibly weak right now. If we subdue her, we can get her blood and gain her power!"
Talos stared blankly at the crazed Gravik before looking at the other young Skrulls, their eyes flickering with uncertainty.
Even his heart could not help but ripple.
Thoughts that should never have existed arose within him.
But in an instant, he suppressed them.
"The method for creating Super-Skrulls was lost during our escape, Gravik. Give up your fantasies." He shook his head.
To his surprise, Gravik laughed. "You're wrong, General. The technology wasn't lost. The scientists from back then have already come to Earth. All we need is your order, and we can become powerful again immediately!"
"What?" Talos's heart lurched once more.
But after wrestling with himself, he still shook his head.
