Odin cast aside all his contempt for Kamar-Taj's sorcerers.

For the second match, Kamar-Taj sent out their contestant first.

After Tony returned victorious and gave them a round of analysis.

Kamar-Taj sent Wanda onto the field.

This time, Odin deliberately used his divine power to observe for several seconds.

A few seconds later, he fell silent.

At last, he sighed and looked up at the starry sky beyond Asgard, his gaze distant as he said nothing.

No one knew whether he was questioning his life or regretting, before the distant Valhalla, that he had not died in battle sooner. If he had, perhaps Thor would have been the one standing here and losing face instead of him.

Kamar-Taj had no sense of fair play. They had actually sent out a contestant like Wanda.

Now Odin understood.

No wonder Leon had proposed this challenge half a year ago. He had come prepared.

Odin simply stopped interfering with the arrangements being made by the competing warriors in Asgard's lounge.

"Why don't we just go out and watch?" Loki asked Thor.

"I just lost, Loki! Iron Man shocked me until I was foaming at the mouth and got eliminated!"

"How can I go out to watch at a time like this? Aren't you afraid everyone will stare at us strangely?" Thor looked utterly despondent.
