Batman's Escape Route

The moment they saw Superman, everyone had the urge to turn and run.

When they heard Batman order a retreat,

Cyborg immediately took the lead and rushed into the ruins.

Everyone followed behind him.

He used his sonic cannon to blast down the cave entrance, then fired at the ground.

Within seconds, he blasted out a pit several meters deep and jumped down.

The instant he landed, the sonic cannon on his right hand switched to a laser weapon.

He continued rapidly clearing out a deep tunnel beneath the pit.

At the same time, Doctor Fate took out a roll of lead foil from the backpack behind him.

Though this superhero was elderly, as a mage, his magic only grew more refined with age.

He spread his hands, and the lead foil unfurled under the control of an invisible force.

The surrounding earth and rocks flew over.

Together with the lead foil, they formed a rough stone chamber.

After enclosing everyone inside, it sealed heavily over the pit.

By then, Cyborg had also finished digging the escape tunnel.

Beneath the stone chamber, he used his laser weapon to cut a square stone slab out of the floor.

Then he lifted the slab and jumped into the room, shouting, "Quick! We'll get out through the tunnel!"

Yet after saying that, he made no further move, and everyone else merely watched him quietly.

A few seconds passed.

Cyborg put the cut stone slab back in place.

After finishing everything, he exchanged glances with the others.

All seven moved at once, standing beneath one wall of the stone chamber with their backs pressed tightly against the lead foil on it.

Doctor Fate cast another spell.

He controlled the deliberately preserved lead foil, earth, and rocks, forming another wall in front of them.

This
