Thor, standing beside him, was completely bewildered.
"Uh...are you talking about something like a stage play? They actually asked you to act in one?"
Thor scratched his head in confusion, completely failing to understand what Loki meant by his grand declaration.
He even wanted to reach out and touch Loki's forehead, suspecting that something had gone wrong with his brother's mind.
"Is your life too miserable, Loki? Maybe I should sell some Uru Metal to Kamar-Taj. That way, I can give you some Earth money and make your life a little easier."
Thor patted Loki on the shoulder.
"You don't need to worry about Asgard. Father is still asleep, but Mother is doing fine."
Thor looked after Loki like a true older brother, doing his best to share some good news.
"And because we have the Bifrost, the Frost Giants' rebellion didn't cause too much turmoil across the Nine Realms."
Loki fell slightly silent and nodded when he heard the news from Asgard.
Of all that news, only his mother's condition truly concerned him.
"If you want to sell Uru Metal, you might as well just give it to me. For example, my daggers." Loki spoke.
"My daggers? Ha, I actually brought them!"
Thor pulled two daggers from his waist and handed them to Loki.
"Here you go. I knew you'd want them, so I brought them along especially for you!"
"..." Loki blankly accepted the daggers.
The cold gleam and chill radiating from them were so familiar.
"Thanks." Loki ran his fingers along the blade and murmured his thanks.
Then the corners of his mouth curled up as he gripped one dagger in each hand.
Without the slightest warning, he stabbed both daggers into Thor's waist at once.
Splat!
The sound of the blades entering flesh was rather conspicuous.
