"Misunderstanding?"
Legend-Leon reached out and placed a hand on Arishem's shoulder.
Their size and posture made them look
like a leader visiting the countryside, patting a child on the shoulder and asking whether there was too much holiday homework.
"Arishem, what made you want to destroy Earth without even trying to learn the truth?"
Leon's bearing at that moment perfectly suited a lofty, inscrutable abstract conceptual entity.
"Did you know that, with my help, Tiamut has already begun incubating somewhere else?"
"And you—you destroy planets recklessly without investigating the truth, without following the laws by which the universe operates. Are you trying to destroy this universe? Did Eternity tell you to do this?"
Arishem's imposing presence visibly weakened.
"My apologies, Your Excellency. I prematurely concluded that the Celestial on this planet had been absorbed by someone."
As the Judge, Arishem was undoubtedly among the Celestials who adhered most closely to the laws of the universe.
Hearing Leon's accusation, he hurriedly explained:
"On Earth in another universe, there is a witch named Agatha who consecutively absorbed the powers of multiple Celestials, including me."
"Because of Agatha's existence, and because I was wary of Your Excellency's power, I rashly chose to act."
Leon fell briefly silent, as though he had heard some bizarre tale about a mouse drinking the entire Pacific Ocean in one gulp.
"Wait, Agatha can absorb Celestials?"
Agatha was not some comedic character. How had she absorbed a Celestial? Wouldn't she burst from the excess power?
Leon found it utterly unbelievable.
But then he thought of something else.
Previously, his Blacklight Clone had gathered the energy of ten Eternals
to accelerate the speed at which it devoured Tiamut's flesh and blood.
Perhaps Agatha had used a similar method—
first draining ten Eternals dry, then taking advantage of Tiamut's goodwill
