Thanos wore an expression of utter disbelief as he repeated the cry from a few seconds ago.
He had traveled the universe for countless years and experienced so many bloody wars.
Yet he had never encountered someone as unbelievable as Leon in terms of strength.
Leon was so powerful that Thanos felt he simply could not resist him.

He even tilted his head and looked at Thanos in confusion, as if asking why his strength was so weak.

Leon's gaze swept over the bulging veins in Thanos's neck. He knew the Titan had exhausted all his strength.
"You want to save the universe. That's good, but the way you're trying to save it won't work."

Leon extended his other hand and placed it on Thanos's left arm.
With one hand bracing Thanos's arm, he slowly pulled the Infinity Gauntlet free from the web between Thanos's thumb and index finger with the other.
"Impossible! The universe... needs balance. Only I can... bring balance!"
Thanos desperately curled his fingers, trying to stop Leon from taking the Infinity Gauntlet.
The muscles across his body trembled. His right hand gripped Leon's shoulder as he strained to pull him away.

stood utterly still like an ancient tree rooted hundreds of meters underground.
