The Avengers held an online meeting.
Every member gathered in Stark Industries' virtual world.
The room had been deliberately set to pure white.
Tony introduced Little Spider to everyone.
"Okay, here's the situation. Our main universe... Oh, you don't know yet. There's an organization called the Time Variance Authority, and they decided on their own that our universe is a branch."
Tony perched at the end of the long conference table, one foot on the floor.
"And now the main universe is colliding with another universe, so Peter came to us for help."
Holland Spider gave a hesitant wave. "Hi, everyone. Good to see you again. Uh, this is actually our first time meeting, but where I'm from, we know each other pretty well."
He kept his sunny smile in place, leaned toward Tony, and whispered—
"Mr. Stark, didn't you say you were bringing me to Leon? Where is he? By the way, your virtual world is incredible."
Holland Spider had spoken quietly.
But in the virtual meeting room, even though they appeared to be talking face-to-face,
everyone's voice went straight to everyone else's ears.
On the left side of the conference table, Young Captain America frowned.
"Tony, you should listen to the kid and find Superman first. I don't know what a World Collision is, but it has to be serious."
"That's not a good idea, Captain," Tony said.
"In the message Leon sent before he left, he said he was about to undergo an important transformation."
"So we'd better handle this ourselves and not disturb him."
Diana and the others seated on the right side of the table considered it briefly, then agreed.
Leon had told them in advance that what he was leaving to do was important.
