"He failed, but the Infinity Stones didn't."
Diana stepped forward and cast the Lasso of Truth, pulling the six stones back.
"The Infinity Stones really can push a universe away. We just need to keep increasing the output until it works."
Diana gripped the six stones.
Their power immediately surged into her body.
The violent energy made her frown slightly.
She looked at Tony. "I need a glove."
"Sure, but we still don't know how much energy it'll take to push an entire universe away, or what the cost will be."
Tony had already scanned the Iron Glove's construction.
He manipulated his nanomaterials and built a new one on the spot.
"You're right, but if we wait any longer, we'll be back to negotiating between the two universes."
Diana smiled, took the Iron Glove, and set the Infinity Stones into its sockets.
"Don't worry. I'm a True God."
Diana held the glove in her left hand and reached toward it with her right. The nanomaterials opened automatically.
But then another slender, fair-skinned arm reached in, nudged Diana aside, and slipped into the open glove.
The nanomaterials closed again and adjusted to fit the pale pink hand.
"Kara?" Diana hadn't expected Kara to seize the chance.
After the other half of the B2 Universe had come back to life and fighters from its various factions had arrived at the battlefield, Kara and Captain Marvel had ended their fight for the time being.
Captain Marvel was no match for Kara.
But Kara hadn't managed to break through Captain Marvel's defenses either.
Even her Heat Vision at full power had only left faint red burns on Captain Marvel while she was in Binary State.
So by the time the fight ended, Captain Marvel's breathing was ragged and her body was covered in red
