In Yinzhou City, two men and a woman strolled down the street, one in front and two behind.
The girl had a youthful face and a lively air. She looked like she was still in high school.
Of the two men, one was tall and the other short. The tall one stood around six feet, lean and bright-eyed. The short one was barely over five feet, with a round belly that made him look like a big winter melon.
The chubby one was Yu Bo, who had just been guaranteed admission to Black River University's Trainer program. He owned the Red Gyarados.
The girl was his younger half-sister, Yu Xin, a high school senior.
He Lun shrugged. "Don't get me started. The mission was going fine, then someone barged in out of nowhere, and our captain called the whole thing off."
After a pause, he leaned toward Yu Bo's ear and whispered, "I heard it might have something to do with the Sky Dragon Society."
As the son of He Youguang, a Level Three Area Commander in Liaoning Province's Inspection Department, He Lun knew a thing or two about the Sky Dragon Society.
Especially since the mission meant to boost his credentials had been ruined by them. Naturally, he had quietly looked into it afterward.
"The Sky Dragon Society, huh? Nothing you can do about that. Those people think they're above the law. Good thing the Yanhuang League keeps a tight grip on things, or we might have terrorist attacks like planes crashing into buildings, the way the Free Alliance does."
As a direct descendant of the Yu Family, Yu Bo knew about the major powers on both sides of the law.
