The jewelry store's bulletproof glass was viciously smashed by the butt of a shotgun, producing a piercing crash.

A man in a green priest's robe and a mask aimed his gun at a trembling young girl.

His alias was Sin-Eater.

"Speak," he said in a hoarse, icy voice.

"Confess your sins, child. In this fallen city, every one of you bears original sin."

The girl had been frightened speechless long ago and could only cry helplessly.

She had no idea who this guy was, but such a terrifying monster definitely wasn't a good person.

"Looks like I'll have to give you a hand." Sin-Eater slowly raised his shotgun, his eyes gleaming with fanaticism.

Just as he was about to pull the trigger—

Bang!

The display window behind him suddenly shattered! A red figure charged in like a phantom!

Clang!

Sin-Eater felt his wrist go numb as an irresistible force struck him, sending the shotgun flying from his hand!

"Your friendly neighborhood Carnage Hero has arrived!"

Carnage landed in what he considered an incomparably cool pose. He spread his arms as red Symbiote matter flowed behind him like a billowing cape.

Sin-Eater stared in shock at the red monster that had appeared out of nowhere, unable to react for a moment.

Carnage gave him no chance to react.

He flung out a red Symbiote tendril, wrapping it precisely around the shotgun still falling through the air.

Then he gave it a hard tug!

The shotgun traced a bizarre arc through the air, its barrel turning to point directly at Sin-Eater's own chin!

Immediately afterward, another, thinner Symbiote tendril lightly pulled the trigger.
