Odys was deciphering the ancient Magic Formation on the door before him. He soon discovered that the Magic Formation actually had a component that gathered spirituality on its own, which was why it was still functioning normally even after more than a thousand years.

This left Odys astonished. He had always believed that after the Second Epoch, there had been no decent Magic Formations left, and that his own research was unique.

He had not expected such a precise Magic Formation to exist in the Fourth Epoch.

However, Odys quickly regained his composure. "There have always been many clever people throughout history. There's no need to be too surprised that the Fourth Epoch had a Magic Formation like this."

Bernadette was slightly taken aback. She had met many geniuses, and most of them found it difficult to accept that anyone else could be as clever as they were.

She had not expected Odys to adjust his mindset so quickly.

Several more minutes passed. After filling seven or eight pages with notes and calculations, Odys said, "That should do it. I've found a way to open this Magic Formation."

Bernadette smiled. "Luckily, I came to you."

She naturally understood how difficult this deciphering process was and how much knowledge it required. It was like a delicate anti-theft mechanism made by a master craftsman more than a thousand years ago. Despite the techniques used to create such mechanisms having been lost for over a thousand years, Odys had cracked it in just over twenty minutes.

However, Odys did not immediately open the door. Instead, he said, "These ancient symbols that make up the Magic Formation are extremely strange. I didn't even sense any trace of civilization from them."
