Having passed the seventh floor and returned once more to the Reward Room, Klein was mentally exhausted. Even Miss Sharron, who usually showed no extra expression, had a somewhat dim look in her eyes.
They had encountered too many nerve-racking scenarios in the Dream Labyrinth just now and had not dared relax for a moment. Yet their strength had been suppressed to only Sequence 9... so getting through had been rather difficult.
"Come to think of it, that 'labyrinth story' just now was adapted from Cube, wasn't it? Although I could use divination to find the 'correct' route, it was still too dangerous. Without Miss Sharron's help, we probably would have failed..."
After muttering silently to himself for a few moments, Klein suddenly heard a stream of information beside his ear, informing him that he had obtained basic authority over the Dream Labyrinth Tower. He could choose to continue the challenge or leave temporarily, as well as specify when he would return here in his next dream.
At the same time, he was told that because there was a problem with how he had obtained his Tower Climber qualification, the previous owner of the Dream Door had imposed restrictions. The Rest Room, points acquisition and exchange, and other privileges that should have opened on the seventh floor were unavailable to him.
After listening carefully to the voice by his ear, Klein frowned and looked toward Miss Sharron beside him. She gave a slight nod, indicating that she had heard it too.
