But the two Calamity Rank fighters from the Rune Federation were nowhere near as relaxed as Grand Duke Mora. When they saw the resurrected Evil Eye King emerge through the shattered cathedral dome, their faces turned grim.
Tanasova frowned. "Isn't this too risky? If the church can't suppress the resurrected Evil Eye King and it grows stronger, we'll be in trouble. It was once a Demigod, after all."
Rudick said nothing, but his eyes and expression showed that he shared the same concern.
Grand Duke Mora gave a faint smile. "What are you worried about? From the moment the evil eye was released, we've held the initiative. Both the Holy Light Church and Akara have reasons they must suppress it. We're the only ones who can stay out of this."
Tanasova and Rudick looked doubtful. Neither understood what Grand Duke Mora meant.
