The Wager with Tsunade

Long Ye sized up the two women with a skeptical look but did not argue. Instead, he produced a bankbook and opened it in front of them.

"Good heavens, so many zeroes!"

Shizune saw the string of numbers in the bankbook and wore an utterly shocked expression.

As for Tsunade, she was completely stunned.

"Ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten-thousands..."

He muttered to himself as he counted the digits in the bankbook.

"Now you believe that I really am very wealthy, right?" Long Ye said calmly.

Tsunade nodded repeatedly.

But before she could say anything, Shizune secretly tugged her aside and leaned close to whisper:

"My lady, this person truly has an extraordinary background. How could an ordinary person possibly have so much money? And how could someone with that much money be a fool who would hand us fifty million for no reason?"

Tsunade thought that made sense, but she was unwilling to give up just like that. She looked seriously at Long Ye and asked:

"You said you're willing to lend me fifty million. There isn't some catch, is there? Could it be that you have a condition?"

As if she had thought of something, she grew wary and thought:

(This mysterious weirdo is so secretive that I can't see his appearance or tell his age. He isn't secretly coveting me, is he?)

While she was thinking, the other party spoke:

"Of course! Fifty million isn't a small sum. I'm not an idiot. How could I casually lend such a huge amount to a stranger..."

Shizune thought to herself.

But hearing how candid he was, she felt much less wary.

"What do you want? Let's hear it!"

When Tsunade heard that he had a condition, her previous excitement immediately vanished.

"I want this!"
