The battle finally erupted.

Candle Tiger's betrayal enraged his elder brother, Candle Yong. Candle Yong charged at him first, intent on dealing with the traitor himself.

Of the other four Admirals, Pakura and Scorpion each took on one. Long Ye fought the remaining two alone, including the one-eyed old man with slicked-back hair.

With his Indestructible Body, Long Ye handled their combined assault with ease. Their swift blades and fierce sword energy were useless against him.

Pakura and Scorpion's opponents fared no better. Neither gained the slightest advantage.

The old man facing Scorpion was in particular danger. Against the Kazekage Puppet's Magnet Release, he spent most of his time dodging for his life.

And that was with the Kazekage Puppet short an arm and much of its arsenal of hidden weapons depleted after Scorpion's fight with Konan. Had Scorpion been at full strength, the old man might already have been dead.

The situation bore no resemblance to the confidence Candle Yong had shown earlier.

Long Ye had noticed that too. Candle Yong was no fool. Even if he knew nothing of Scorpion's or Pakura's strength, he knew Long Ye's well enough.
