Miss Tantai stepped out of the shadows and asked softly.
Gu Sheng nodded.
"A top-tier sect, the Myriad Flow Sect. They have their eyes on the Xie Family bloodline."
Miss Tantai frowned slightly.
"I feel like I've heard the name Myriad Flow Sect somewhere before."
"No rush."
Gu Sheng put away the Southern Emperor Sword.
"Let's leave first."
The two turned and left. Behind them, only Meng Xiao's gradually cooling corpse and shattered tea ware remained in Purple Bamboo Courtyard.
The moonlight was like blood, spilling across the glazed tiles of the Meng Family residence and reflecting an eerie gleam.
Miss Tantai leaned lazily against an ancient locust tree, her slender fingers winding a lock of dark hair by her temple as an inscrutable light flickered in her eyes beneath the moon.

The golden markings on his left arm suddenly lit up. Dozens of black vines burst from his sleeve, twisting and stretching like living creatures.
The vines were covered in barbs, gleaming with a metallic chill beneath the moonlight.
