"Really? Are you serious?"

Remiel Dan's eyes lit up at once, even brighter than when she had seen the Soulsteel.

Healing her body would be far better than upgrading her Void Hunter weapon. An upgrade would only slow her march toward death.

But if she were healed, she would be back at the starting line. After a hundred years, Wanzhou's injuries had to be worse than hers.

Wanzhou was no longer as formidable as she once was. Against Remiel Dan at her peak... heh.

"Griseo, you're not pulling my leg, are you?"

"I'm not sure. We should at least be able to suppress it or ease the symptoms." Griseo led Remiel Dan toward the treatment room. "Grandma Mobius is amazing."

"Wait, Mobius? Who's that? Is there someone else here?" Remiel Dan froze, then hurriedly looked around.

"Grandma Mobius was one of the Ark's designers, though she might not like you..." Griseo stopped before a silver-white door and pressed her hand to the sensor beside it.

The treatment room doors slid apart. The lights came on, bathing the room in a soft glow.

A medical pod stood in the center. Fine lines of energy flowed across its surface, while cabinets along the walls held instruments and diagnostic equipment.

Remiel Dan stood in the doorway and leaned halfway in. After looking around, she pulled back, hesitant.

She had seen rooms like this all the time aboard Helios. Her PTSD was acting up.

"Come in, Dan!"

Griseo walked over to the medical pod and pressed a button. A pale blue screen appeared, several lines of parameters flickering across it.

"Why can't I read any of this?" Remiel Dan muttered, but she still shuffled inside.

"Uh..."
