Molly brought Little Mo home, walked into her bedroom, and shut the door behind her. Leaning against it, she let out a long sigh.
The room was quiet, but the scenes from Luoxi's villa kept replaying in her mind.
When she had been demonized, she had not completely lost consciousness. It was more as though every desire and reckless impulse deep inside her had been magnified without limit, changing her personality entirely.
It was like someone usually restrained and reserved had suddenly broken free of every inhibition and done things she would never normally dare to do—the exact opposite of Sage Mode.
She rubbed her burning cheeks, guilt and unease filling her heart. She says she doesn't blame me, but she must think I'm disgusting. I did something so outrageous. Maybe she'll avoid me from now on and never want to see me again.
The more Molly thought about it, the worse she felt. At a loss and unsure how to make amends, she could only sigh, sit down on the edge of her bed, and stare blankly ahead with her chin propped in her hands.
But her thoughts soon drifted back to Luoxi.
Luoxi usually carried herself like a cool, immaculate young lady. She had an air of elegance, and though she treated others gently, she always kept her distance. She was forever poised and composed.
But when Molly had bound her and drawn out her magic power, her cheeks had flushed and her eyes had filled with bashfulness, even as she desperately tried to suppress her emotions. That contrast between her usual coolness and her flustered state burst into Molly's mind. Her heart skipped a beat, and her cheeks grew scorching hot.
