"That's it?"
Jiao Long was stunned. Zhang Yang had boldly promised Lin Cheng he would settle the matter in three days, and the deadline was almost up.
"Yes, that's it. Once you've delivered them, you don't need to say anything. Just come straight back."
Zhang Yang handed the materials to Jiao Long and the other three. The four set off at once.
All four were curious about what was inside, and every one of them sneaked a look. What they saw shocked them: most of the information was confidential, and none of it had come from their investigation.
They also knew it would deal a fatal blow to the companies they were targeting.
The deliveries went smoothly, except that Ye Nan ran into trouble.
"Hello. Is your chairman here?"
Neatly dressed and well-mannered, Ye Nan stood at the reception desk of Ruixin Company.
"I'm sorry. Do you have an appointment?"
The receptionist looked him over.
"No. Is he here or not?"
Ye Nan held information that could determine Ruixin Company's fate. His confidence was only natural, and he answered impatiently.
"I'm sorry, but you can't see the chairman without an appointment. He's very busy."
The receptionist was firm and made no move to notify the chairman. If this had not been an assignment from Zhang Yang, Ye Nan would have turned around and left Ruixin Company to its fate.
"Heh. This is for your chairman. Get it to him quickly. If you're too late, nothing will save you."
Ye Nan tossed the document envelope onto the reception desk, lifted his chin, and walked out.
The last light of sunset saw wave after wave of employees leave for home, but the envelope still sat at the reception desk.
"Chairman, someone came by this afternoon and said these materials were for you."
