Within the chilly underground base, the single eye beneath Obito Uchiha's spiral mask gazed indifferently at the scene in the sky recounting the future.

When he heard Deidara say, "Boss Pain is gone," and "Sister Nan disbanded the Akatsuki Organization," he did not react with surprise or anger like an ordinary person would.

He merely let out a disdainful snort through his nose.

"In the future, Nagato died and Konan disbanded the organization. It was only natural that they would go their separate ways."

"Whatever. Let them leave if they want to in the future. They're all insignificant pawns anyway."

From the fragments of information in the Canopy Screen, Obito Uchiha keenly picked up on the name Nine Nether.

"Nine Nether?" He repeated the name softly, his tone rising slightly with amusement and curiosity. "So in the future, they'll become my new partners? Heh! Interesting."

Zetsu's sardonic voice rang out at just the right moment, carrying the peculiar tone of an information broker:

"Based on an analysis of the scattered information, the Nine Nether organization operates mysteriously, and the strength of its members is unknown. However, they seem to harbor intense hostility and a desire to destroy the existing order of the Shinobi World. Perhaps they do indeed have value to exploit."

Obito Uchiha said nothing more. He merely stood there quietly, the corner of his mouth beneath the mask seeming to curl into an almost imperceptible smile.

The old tools had scattered, but new tools would always appear within sight.

The Eye of the Moon Plan needed conflict, chaos, and sufficient power to gather the Tailed Beasts.
