"Congratulations, young lady!" Another staff member reacted faster. Though he was just as stunned, his professionalism kicked in. He made the announcement in a loud voice and flashed a dazzling smile.
"You've won the grand prize—a three-day luxury cruise to Bali!"
"Wow!" Anya threw both hands in the air and cheered. Her little face glowed with pride and delight, as though she had just saved the world rather than won a prize.
In the distance, the calculator slipped from Kabuto Yakushi's hand as he stared at her, too stunned to notice. Disbelief was written all over his face. "Huh?!"
Is that girl really this lucky?
That evening, Yor opened the front door beneath the warm lights, a trace of fatigue in her face.
She had received a flood of information in Samui's office that day. Even on the way home, she had kept running through every crisis that might arise.
"Mother! You're home!"
Before Yor could change her shoes, Anya charged over like a little pink cannonball. Barely able to contain her excitement, she held up a beautifully printed cruise ticket.
"Look! This is the 'legendary treasure' Hero Anya obtained today!" she declared in her most theatrical voice. "This weekend, we're going on a three-day adventure aboard the luxury cruise ship Peace Tour!"
Yor took the ticket without thinking. When she saw the words "Peace Tour" and the distinctive hull design printed on it, her pupils contracted almost imperceptibly.
She looked up in surprise. "The Peace Tour?! Anya, my assignment this weekend is to board that very ship and receive Hinata Hyuga, the Seventh Hokage's wife."
Kabuto Yakushi looked up from his newspaper in the living room. He adjusted his glasses, his face showing just the right amount of surprise.
"Oh? What a coincidence. I was just thinking of asking
