But I hadn't clicked on it.

After Obito's author brought it up today, I clicked on it with a nervous heart.

And boy, was I in for a shock.

I'd thought the Protagonist might just happen to look the same, and the title might just happen to sound similar.

But once I read the book, I couldn't think that anymore.

The Protagonist didn't just look the same. Their abilities, character setup, and practically everything else were identical.

Even their name contained the character "Ling," just like my Protagonist's.

Not only that, but the first four chapters were basically a carbon copy of mine.

They hadn't even fixed the mistakes I'd made. They'd copied everything wholesale.

I wrote Date A Live fan fiction. In the original, the Eurasian Great Disaster involved "the Eurasian continent being blown up."

I wrote that it "blew up everything from Europe to Asia."

That book copied even that word for word without correcting it.

And here's the funny part: their Protagonist even had the same figure as mine. Both were D-cups. (Don't mind that my Protagonist's bust size is now listed as E. I changed it later; it was D before.)

In short, if Obito's book borrowed my outline and passages, this one plagiarized my Protagonist's abilities and appearance, along with the first four chapters.

All they did was change my Protagonist's stat of 2,000 to a maxed-out 999.

I still remember one exchange in that book's reviews.

A reader noticed how similar its opening was to mine and called it out.

Guess how the author responded?

"His is a marriage story. Mine isn't."

I was utterly baffled when I heard that.

Mine was a marriage story and yours was yuri. What did that have to do with you copying my character setup and opening chapters?
