"If you don't let me go, he'll come here and kill you."
Hanabi Hyuga raised her voice.
Her words seemed to strike a nerve.
After snapping, "You'll be the blind one soon," Otsutsuki Toneri said nothing more.
Before long, they arrived at a lavish room.
"Take one last look. This is the wedding room I prepared for you and your sister."
Otsutsuki Toneri spoke to Hanabi Hyuga in a flat voice.
The room was decorated with ribbons and silk.
Before its enormous floor-to-ceiling window stood a long table laden with food.
Two humanoid puppets bustled around the table.
"Enjoy your meal."
"Once you've eaten, we can begin the eye-transplant ceremony."
Otsutsuki Toneri seemed to be in a better mood. He sat at one end of the table and began eating.
Hanabi Hyuga had no appetite. Still unwilling to give up, she looked at him. "Aren't you afraid my brother-in-law will find this place?"
Otsutsuki Toneri paused, then picked up his wineglass and took a sip. "It doesn't matter."
"Even if he does find us, he'll only die a little sooner."
"Ninja should no longer exist in this world."
