An energy shield appeared out of thin air before Ren and took the incoming attack head-on.

The two figures crisscrossed in midair, locked in a fierce battle as bursts of colored energy exploded around them.

The Avengers stared, dumbfounded.

It was like watching two supersonic fighter jets dogfight above the clouds.

Their necks had long since grown painfully stiff, but they never noticed. Their eyes remained fixed on the sky.

After a long while,

Tony Stark suddenly snapped out of it.

"Mephisto, Lord of Hell?"

"That name... sounds familiar."

"My God. Is that old monster the devil who rules Hell in the myths?"

Tony Stark went pale with horror.

Just what kind of monster was Ren?

He was going toe-to-toe with the legendary devil king of Hell?!

Deep in the Universe,

Eternity had been in an excellent mood lately.

He and another god, Oblivion, despised each other. That was no secret among the Universe's highest powers.

Not long ago, Oblivion had grown bored and gone looking for trouble in Earth-616.

And what happened? Someone gave him a brutal beating, and he fled back with his tail between his legs.

he had nearly burst out laughing among the stars.

And that was not all.

He had made a special trip to Oblivion's domain to mock him to his face.
