Asgard Bows, the Universe's Timeline Resets!

Using the Infinity Stones' power came at a price.

At those words, resolve flashed across Thor's face.

Thud.

Asgard's new king dropped to both knees before Ren.

"Sorcerer Ren, please have mercy! Save my people!"

"Take anything you want from the Asgardian Treasury."

"I'll even give you the Infinity Gauntlet!"

Thor looked up at Ren, his eyes full of earnest pleading.

Ren sighed softly.

The Thunder God before him still had a lot to learn about ruling.

But when it came to compassion and responsibility, he was more than fit to lead.

He had humbled himself enough to kneel and beg for his people.

For the proud Thor, that was rare indeed.

"Get up. Let's talk."

"I'll think of something."

Ren frowned slightly and swept a sleeve through the air.

A gentle force pressed Thor firmly back into his chair.

Ren was deeply troubled.

After a plea like that,

he couldn't simply stand by and let them die.

But

he absolutely could not touch the Time Stone.

Borrowing even a little of its power would bring enormous trouble later.

He turned the problem over in his mind.

It seemed his only option was to force the timeline backward.

He had just seized Chthon's divine power. It hadn't noticeably improved his combat strength,

but it had given him quite a few new abilities that defied reason.

For example,

he could reset the timeline of an entire universe.

He had never tried it before, and he wasn't entirely sure it would work.

Then again,

things could hardly get worse. He might as well give it a shot.

Ren settled back into his seat and looked straight at Thor.

"Thor, I do have a way to save them."

"Once it's done, make me a copy of every magic text in Asgard's collection."

"Agreed!"
