The First Firmament glared at Ren, his face livid. He wanted nothing more than to cut his troublemaking subordinates to pieces.
But things had already come to this. As their leader, he had no choice but to clean up the mess.
"So there's really nothing to discuss?"
"Your terms amount to either killing us outright or putting us completely under your control."
"Unfortunately, we'd rather die fighting than accept such humiliation."
The First Firmament's tone left no room for doubt.

"Those terms might be negotiable..."
Just as the First Firmament braced himself to face death, a timid voice suddenly cut in.

It was the Eradicator, who had taken the worst beating earlier and had the least backbone.

The Judge was so furious he slapped him across the face.
The Eradicator held his cheek, looking deeply wronged.

The Eradicator kept muttering under his breath.
The First Firmament shot him a murderous glare. Only then did the Eradicator shrink back and finally shut up.

Sensing Ren's strange look, the First Firmament flushed a deep red.
"He... is absolutely an exception among the Celestials!"
The First Firmament forced the explanation through clenched teeth.
