Rayleigh looked at the bartender, who had frozen in fear, and smiled. "Hey, could you bring us some drinks?"
"S-sir, I'd like to, but..." The bartender looked troubled. "I can't exactly move around with things like this."
Rayleigh asked curiously, "Do these people come here to cause trouble often?"
The bartender swallowed and shook his head. "Not really. They probably came from another island."
"Hey! Who said you could talk?" the middle-aged man snapped. "Ignore me and you die!"
With that, he fired a shot at Rayleigh's back.
The bullet sped toward him.
But when it struck Rayleigh's back, it made a dull thud. To everyone's astonishment, it bounced off as though it had hit something hard and fell to the floor.
"How is that possible?" the man exclaimed. "Are you wearing a bulletproof vest? No—it's Armament Haki! You can use Armament Haki!"
Rayleigh laughed. "You know a thing or two, then. How about doing me a favor and leaving now?"
The man frowned. "Who exactly are you?"
"I'm just an ordinary old man," Rayleigh said lightly.

The man handed his gun to a subordinate, and another brought him a rocket launcher.

Rayleigh smiled and shook his head. "Young people have less and less respect these days. Going this hard on an old man? That won't do."
