The air rippled, and every attack from the CP9 squad landed on Xia Le. But their pupils contracted as all their blows passed through empty space, without any sensation of striking solid flesh.

"How is that possible?!"

"What the hell is going on with this guy?!"

His expression changing sharply, Kaku turned to look.

What he saw next sent a shock through him.

The parts of Xia Le's body their attacks had struck had turned into blue arcs of electricity. Everyone's attacks passed straight through, as though they had plunged into a mass of lightning.

"Ngh..."

A muffled groan escaped Kalifa, and fear flashed in her eyes.

Visible blue arcs burst from his body and crawled over her entire body in an instant.

In that single moment, she felt numbness and a sharp, searing pain.

Crackle!

The crackling of electricity followed.

Blue arcs filled and enveloped the small boat, then surged over the entire squad.

"I don't like rude people."

"So let me teach you a lesson first!"

Xia Le spoke calmly.

Electricity coursed wildly through Kaku, Jabra, Kalifa, Blueno, Kumadori, and Fukurou. Fear and shock filled their eyes as they collapsed limply.

The strongest Logia fruit, the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, had actually appeared before them.

Kaku gritted his teeth and tried to stand, but he could not.

"Just a kindhearted Marine who saw you down on your luck and wanted to lend a hand!"

Xia Le smiled faintly.

"Personally, I also despise people who use others, discard them like worn-out shoes, then turn around and silence them!"
