Meeting Law again

"Bang!"

Suddenly, a pirate about twenty meters directly ahead squeezed his pistol's trigger out of nervousness.

The bullet shot from the barrel toward Xia Le.

Xia Le raised his hand and flicked a finger.

His fingertip struck the incoming bullet in an instant. The tremendous force distorted the surrounding space, denting the lead bullet and changing its trajectory, sending it flying back.

"Whoosh!"

In the blink of an eye, the bullet pierced the pirate's forehead, leaving a bloody hole between his brows.

Even then, the pirates beside him were still staring blankly.

"Thud!"

The pirate collapsed as his strength left him, making everyone's heart jolt as an endless chill crept up their backs.

"Monster!!!"

Someone screamed, consumed by fear.

They could not imagine someone deflecting a fired bullet with nothing more than a flick of his finger.

Just how terrifyingly powerful did a monster like that have to be?

The pirates scattered and fled. Some wet themselves in fright, while others had tears and snot streaming down their faces.

"I can't just let you leave so easily!"

Xia Le shook his head and sighed.

He flexed his fingers, and blue arcs of electricity shot out in an instant.

"Boom!"

An explosive crack rang out. Every fleeing pirate was struck, smoke rising from their bodies as they crumpled to the ground.

Once he had finished, his gaze settled on the nervous Marine major in the distance.

"Major, I think I'll need the files on this batch of Supernovas currently on the Sabaody Archipelago, along with a list of the other pirates."

Xia Le spoke with a smile.

At his words, the Marine major breathed a sigh of relief. He hurried over, saluted, took a stack of documents from the aide beside him, and handed them to Xia Le.

"Admiral Xia Le!"
